I’ve had my eye on a few titles so I used this opportunity to buy some new books. My book wish list is long, so I had a hard time picking just 3 🙂
I bought Norman the Slug with the Silly Shell by Sue Hendra. My library doesn’t have this one and I have wanted to read it for a while because both my son and I love Sue Hendra’s Keith the Cat with the Magic Hat. We can’t wait for this to arrive.
My son is obsessed with Mario right now and he really wanted this Little Golden Book’s Super Mario by Steve Foxe, so I ordered it too. I’ve had a hard time finding Mario books at a preschool level, so I’m hoping Little Golden Books will come through for us.
Our third book is Time for School, Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle. It’s a preorder, so we have to wait until the end of the month for this one, but the Little Blue Truck series is so well done that we think it’s going to be worth the wait. The stories are cute — we love the rhymes and Jill McElmurry’s illustrations.
